School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Burton, MI 48529
Position Type: Full-Time | 20262027 School Year
We are actively seeking a dedicated and student-focused Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school district in the Burton area for the full 20262027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a collaborative special education team while making a lasting impact on students' communication and academic success.
What You'll Do:
Provide speech and language therapy services to students with a variety of communication needs
Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
What You Bring:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active Michigan SLP license (or ability to obtain)
ASHA CCCs preferred (CFs encouraged to apply)
School-based experience preferred, but not required
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
