Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist, where your expertise will make a genuine impact on middle school students. This onsite position is located near Burnsville, MN and covers two middle schools for the 2026-2027 academic year, with a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours. The assignment starts August 24, 2026, and runs through June 4, 2027.
In this role, you'll not only provide critical speech-language services but also serve as a mentor and overseer for an SLPA who will deliver the majority of direct support. This leadership component offers a unique chance to guide and collaborate with another skilled professional, all while supporting students communication growth.
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is required
- Prior experience in a school setting and with middle school populations preferred
- Ability to oversee, mentor, and support SLPAs
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee and supervise SLPA providing speech-language interventions
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Document services and maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations
- Monitor and report student outcomes, making data-driven adjustments as needed
