A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Burnsville, MN, offering a contract position that supports students speech and language needs within a school setting. This role involves working with a caseload of 65 students, including those in center-based programming. The position requires an active Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) School Certification.
Location: Burnsville, MN
Work Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:15 AM to 4:15 PM
Contract Duration: ASAP through end of school year (EOSY)
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to a diverse caseload of students.
- Support students enrolled in center-based programming, addressing their individualized communication needs.
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to develop and implement effective speech-language goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all school district policies.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification or licensure, including SLP-CCC and school-based SLP credentials.
- Active Minnesota MDE School Certification.
- Experience working with school-aged children and varied speech and language disorders.
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 65 students efficiently.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Additional Opportunity:
There is an opening for a Birth to 2 years SLP, providing early intervention services primarily through home visits. This position involves case managing around 12 children with developmental delays served on IFSPs, conducting approximately 15-18 home visits each week.
Work Schedule for Birth-2 Position: 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Contract Duration: Immediate start through June 30, 2026
