Job Description

Step into a rewarding opportunity working with high school students in a dynamic educational environment. We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students communication and educational needs for a long-term assignment from August 4th through May 21st. This contract position offers a flexible 0.6 FTE (24 hours per week) schedule within a collaborative school community.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current or in-process Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license (must provide copy of CDE license or COOL with resume; applications without this will not be reviewed)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • At least one year of classroom-based experience in a school setting
  • Proficiency with assessment, intervention, and documentation for school-aged students
  • Commitment to onsite work only; remote or SLPA roles are not available for this position

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy to high school students at two campuses
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure students success
  • Conduct IEP assessments, prepare reports, and assist in developing targeted treatment plans
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings and team consultations
  • Foster an inclusive and encouraging environment that supports student growth
