Job Description

Engage your skills as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist in a supportive educational environment located in Brooklyn, NY. This contract position spans the extended school year, allowing you to make a meaningful impact on students communication needs from July 7, 2025, to August 13, 2025.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
  • Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly with K-12 students.
  • Familiarity with various disabilities, including articulation/fluency, autism, and Down syndrome.
  • Valid state SLP license and DOE certification.

Location:
Brooklyn, NY

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders.
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and implement appropriate therapeutic interventions.
  • Collaborate with educational staff and families to support students communication goals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and outcomes.
  • Conduct group and individual therapy sessions tailored to diverse needs.
