A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide support to high school students through teletherapy in Bronx, NY. This role focuses on delivering high-quality speech and language services within a school setting for a limited number of hours each week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct teletherapy sessions addressing speech and language disorders for high school-aged students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Evaluate student progress regularly and adjust plans accordingly
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate therapy goals in the academic environment
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid New York State Speech-Language Pathology Licensure
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly within school or healthcare settings
- Ability to deliver teletherapy services efficiently and effectively
- Strong communication skills and familiarity with educational caseload management
Schedule and Workload:
- 4.5 to 5 hours per week
- 2 days per week
- Caseload primarily consists of high school students
