Job Description

A unique opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students across K-12 in a dynamic Bronx, NY school setting. This contract role spans the current school year (CSY), offering the chance to make a meaningful impact on the communication development of diverse learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to promote effective communication strategies.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with educational standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) credential.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
  • Experience working in a K-12 educational environment is highly valued.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to manage caseload and prioritize responsibilities efficiently.
