Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists to support students in a K-12 educational setting. This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of approximately 50 students, with assignments tailored to individual staff strengths.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Connecticut Speech-Language Pathologist license
  • Department of Education Certification
  • Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

Location:

  • Bridgeport, CT

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff to implement effective interventions
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and services provided
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and parent conferences
  • Adapt therapeutic materials and strategies to meet diverse student needs
