Job Description

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist with experience in school settings to support elementary students during a leave contract in Brick, NJ. This role focuses on delivering targeted speech and language services to children in an elementary school environment, fostering their communication development and academic success.

Key Qualifications:

  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Experience working as an SLP within school settings
  • Strong skills in assessment, individualized therapy planning, and progress monitoring
  • Ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals
  • Knowledge of state and federal guidelines related to school-based speech-language services

Location:

  • Elementary school located in Brick, New Jersey

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students on a leave-of-absence contract basis
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
  • Coordinate with teachers and support staff to integrate speech goals within the classroom
  • Participate in meetings and professional development as required
