Job Description

An opportunity is available for a skilled professional to provide speech-language pathology services in a K-12 school setting located in Bradenton, FL. This role is set to begin ASAP and will continue through the end of the current school year, with a focus on supporting students' communication needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess students speech and language abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student.
  • Provide direct therapy to students requiring speech and language interventions.
  • Collaborate with educational staff and families to facilitate student progress.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation as stipulated by school policies.

Qualifications:

  • Active Florida Speech Language Pathologist license and school credentials.
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Experience in pediatric settings, particularly within schools, is highly preferred.
  • Proficient in conducting assessments and developing IEPs.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
