Key Qualifications:

• Active Virginia Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license required
• Experience providing services within a school-based setting preferred
• Ability to manage diverse caseloads from kindergarten through high school
• Strong communication, collaborative, and organizational skills
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy sessions to assigned K-12 students in accordance with IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to develop and implement effective interventions
• Conduct assessments to identify students speech and language needs
• Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and service delivery
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
• Utilize evidence-based practices to support student growth
