A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available within a K-12 school setting in Bosque Farms, NM. This contract role spans from ASAP through May 2026 and requires an on-site commitment of 35 hours per week. The position serves diverse caseloads, including elementary students from PreK through 3rd grade, a middle school group comprising 7th and 8th graders, and another elementary group ranging from PreK to 6th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy to students across elementary and middle school levels
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations regarding speech-language services
- Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings
Qualifications:
- Valid New Mexico Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) credential is required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
- Experience providing services to school-aged children, particularly within K-12 settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, families, and school staff
- Ability to manage multiple caseloads and prioritize tasks efficiently
