Job Description

Step into an impactful role supporting students communication skills as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for a full academic year. Working in a dynamic educational environment near Bonita Springs, FL, youll provide crucial speech-language services to K-12 students at a single school location within Golden Gate City or Immokalee.

Your expertise will help empower students, enabling them to achieve their educational goals and reach their fullest potential. Youll benefit from a structured schedule, either full-time or part-time (up to 35 hours weekly, 7 hours per day), and a supportive on-site team committed to student progress.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active Florida Department of Health SLP licensure (required)
  • Experience working in a school setting (K-12) preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to perform required credentialing, including fingerprinting and eligibility for a JLA badge

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students across K-12
  • Conduct comprehensive speech evaluations and assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators and families
  • Maintain clear documentation of therapy sessions and progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise in speech and language development
