Job Description

Enhance communication and learning experiences for elementary students as a Speech Language Pathologist in a welcoming school environment near Bolingbrook, IL. This onsite contract position offers the opportunity to work with a supportive team dedicated to student growth and achievement. You will play a vital role in helping young learners develop crucial speech and language skills that will set them up for future academic success.

Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois SLP License required
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech Endorsement
  • Experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare SLP settings highly valued
  • Familiarity with teletherapy and clinical fellowship year (CFY) roles is a plus
  • Ability to work onsite and effectively manage an elementary caseload

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in elementary-aged students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational staff and families
  • Provide both direct and consultative speech and language services
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team discussions, and professional development
  • Communicate effectively with families, teachers, and administration to support student outcomes
