An opportunity awaits for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in an engaging educational environment. This contract position focuses on providing assessment, intervention, and support services to children from kindergarten through 12th grade, fostering their communication skills and overall educational development.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify students speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students requiring speech and language intervention.
  • Monitor and document student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students overall needs.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Current Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement.
  • Experience or training in pediatric speech therapy, particularly in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and families.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
