Key Qualifications:

  • Active Ohio Speech Language Pathologist license
  • Current Ohio Educator Certification
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
  • Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings is a plus
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities
  • Eagerness to be flexible and responsive to a dynamic caseload

Responsibilities:

  • Assess student speech, language, and communication abilities through standardized and informal tools
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide direct therapy services onsite, utilizing evidence-based methods and tailored interventions
  • Document progress, maintain detailed records, and regularly communicate with families and staff
  • Support students participation and progress in general education classrooms
  • Consult with educators and offer strategies to promote successful inclusion
  • Adapt quickly as caseload details are finalized to deliver high-quality services
