Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity at an elementary school in the beautiful mountains near Ellijay, GA. This role is perfect for Speech-Language Pathologists with a passion for supporting young learners as they achieve communication milestones. Running from August 3, 2026, through May 26, 2027, youll enjoy a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, engaging with students, educators, and families in a collaborative school environment.
Whats needed to thrive in this position:
- Active Georgia SLP license and teaching certificate
- Eligible credentials including CCC or CFY status
- Recent experience or internship in a school setting, ideally with elementary-aged children
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Dedication to evidence-based practice and IEP process
- Team-first attitude and enthusiasm for school-based services
As the Speech-Language Pathologist on campus, responsibilities will include:
- Conducting evaluations and re-evaluations to determine student needs
- Creating and managing individualized treatment plans
- Collaborating with teachers, families, and other specialists to promote student growth
- Delivering direct and indirect speech-language services
- Maintaining accurate documentation according to district requirements
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to a supportive learning community
