Job Description

An engaging opportunity awaits for a skilled professional specializing in speech-language pathology within an educational setting. This contract position is primarily focused on providing essential support to students with diverse needs during the extended school year.

Location:
Bloomsburg, PA

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and provide therapy for a caseload of 25 K-12 students with various speech and language disorders.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique requirements.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques as needed to ensure effective outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress in compliance with district policies.

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP).
  • Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly in school settings.
  • Familiarity with IEP development and teletherapy practices is a plus.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage effectively with students and staff.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a contract position.

This position runs from June 17 to July 24, with hours Tuesday through Thursday, 8 AM to 11 AM.
