Job Description

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is required for a preschool program located in Billerica, MA. This position offers a contract assignment through the current school year and provides the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload of students with moderate to severe disabilities, many of whom are AAC users.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing speech-language therapy services to preschool students with a range of communication needs
  • Developing individualized treatment plans that address complex learning and communication challenges
  • Collaborating closely with educators and families as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Managing a caseload that will gradually increase to approximately 30 students as the year progresses
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with district policies

Desired qualifications include:

  • Active Massachusetts SLP certification (CF candidates are welcome to apply)
  • Experience working with AAC devices and students with complex communication needs
  • Ability to deliver therapy services 4 days per week for approximately 6 hours each day; a 5-day schedule for 30 hours weekly may also be considered
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to support student growth and team coordination

This role is based in an elementary school setting and offers a contract through December 2025, with a potential extension through June 2026 if no direct hire is selected.
