Job Description

Located in Bessemer, MI, this role offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to support students' communication needs in a K-12 school setting for the 2025-2026 school year. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to diagnose speech and language disorders and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support students overall development.
  • Provide direct therapy to students requiring speech and language intervention.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and progress notes.

Qualifications:

  • Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings, is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to develop and implement IEPs.
