K-12 School Setting

Location: Berlin, MD Position Type: Part-Time Contract (School Year) Schedule: 3-4 days per week, onsite

An opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist to provide services in a K-12 school environment. The role involves managing a caseload of 30-40 students, conducting assessments and evaluations, participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, and delivering direct therapy tailored to student needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, test, and evaluate speech and language abilities of students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals during IEP meetings
  • Provide direct therapy services to support communication development

Qualifications:

  • Valid Maryland Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • Experience working within school settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and deliver goal-driven therapy
