Desired skills and qualifications:
- Current California Speech-Language Pathologist license (required)
- SLP-CCC or CFY accepted
- Experience in school settings, teletherapy, or pedatric speech-language pathology highly valued
- Familiarity supporting diverse student populations K-12
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Capacity to thrive in dynamic, multidisciplinary environments
Key responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for K-12 students
- Provide direct and indirect therapy services, including individual and group interventions
- Create and maintain accurate, timely documentation on student progress and therapy outcomes
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support each student's unique needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and review of student goals
- Utilize both in-person and teletherapy approaches to increase the reach and effectiveness of services
