Step into a dynamic contract opportunity as a full-time Speech Language Pathologist supporting students in a collaborative educational setting. You'll work closely with a caseload of approximately 50 students, offering direct therapy, conducting detailed evaluations, and overseeing IEP development and implementation. This is a rewarding position for those passionate about fostering communication skills and academic success in school-aged children.
Key Qualifications:
- Current SLP License required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in educational or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong understanding of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Assess and evaluate students speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop and document individualized educational plans (IEPs), goals, and progress reports
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and collaborate with teachers and school personnel
- Maintain accurate records of therapy and student progress
- Serve as a resource and support to staff and parents in understanding students needs
