Job Description
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Belen, New Mexico, serving students from PreK through 8th grade across multiple school settings. This contract role is scheduled from ASAP through May 2026 and requires on-site presence working 35 hours per week within a K-12 school environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to elementary (PreK-3rd and PreK-6th) and middle school (7th-8th) students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and district regulations
- Participate in professional development opportunities and clinical mentorship programs
Qualifications:
- Current New Mexico license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (NM Licensed SLP) is required
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
- Experience working with school-age children across multiple grade levels is highly desirable
- Ability to work effectively in a school-based setting and manage a diverse caseload
