A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school located in Beaufort, SC. This contract role offers an opportunity to support students' communication development from the beginning of the current school year through June 1, 2026. The position requires onsite presence, working 37.5 hours per week to deliver high-quality speech therapy services.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellow (CF) status
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) candidates will also be considered
- Experience working with school-aged children in K-12 settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech therapy intervention techniques appropriate for diverse student needs
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and support staff
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services based on student IEPs
- Conduct assessments and progress evaluations to monitor student development
- Collaborate with teachers and school personnel to integrate communication goals into classroom activities
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state guidelines
Location: Beaufort, SC
Contract Duration: Current school year through 06/01/2026
Schedule: Full-time, onsite, 37.5 hours per week
