Job Description

A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide comprehensive speech and language services for K-12 students with complex needs. This onsite contract role supports direct therapy, evaluations, assessments, and IEP development within a Delaware school setting.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering individualized direct therapy to address speech, language, and communication challenges in students
  • Conducting thorough assessments and diagnostic testing to determine student needs
  • Completing evaluations and writing detailed reports to support IEP development
  • Participating in IEP meetings and collaborating with educators and families to create effective intervention plans
  • Managing a caseload focused on students with complex communication needs across all K-12 grade levels

Qualifications:

  • Current Delaware Speech Language Pathologist license
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings
  • Ability to conduct teletherapy services is beneficial but not required
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and educational guidelines
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills to manage evaluations and documentation
