Job Description

Seeking a full-time, on-site Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2025-2026 school year, including the Extended School Year (ESY), to support K-12 students in Onondaga County. This contract position provides a rewarding opportunity to work directly within a school setting, helping children develop essential communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to students from kindergarten through grade 12
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create and implement effective treatment plans
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy approaches accordingly
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to developing school-wide communication support strategies
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with district and state regulations

Qualifications:

  • Active New York State Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • Certification as a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) in New York
  • Experience in pediatric and school-based speech therapy preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
