Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a Speech Language Pathologist working onsite with K-12 learners. This rewarding contract role runs from August 12, 2025, through May 22, 2026, offering opportunities to collaborate with a supportive school community and address diverse communication needs. Multiple openings are available, making it an excellent environment for both new and experienced SLPs to grow.
What you'll bring:
- Active Virginia Speech Language Pathologist license (SLPA)
- Experience with K-12 student populations preferred, although all qualified applicants will be considered
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment
- A collaborative spirit for working alongside teachers, staff, and families
What you'll do:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to K12 students in an onsite school setting
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and maintain thorough documentation of student progress
- Collaborate with education professionals to support student success
- Utilize ongoing professional development and advisory resources to refine your skills
