Job Description

Key Experience and Skills:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates will be considered
  • Prior experience in a school environment highly desirable
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an educational team

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs
  • Conduct regular therapy sessions, monitor progress, and adjust strategies as necessary
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student growth and participation
  • Maintain accurate records and submit required documentation in a timely manner
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations
