Job Description

A K-12 school in Aurora, IL is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students across the academic year on a contract basis. This role offers the opportunity to provide essential speech and language services to support student communication development in a dynamic educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in K-12 students
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state regulations
  • Participate in meetings and team discussions to promote student success

Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) and SLP licensure required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience working with school-aged children across K-12 grade levels
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage caseload and prioritize tasks effectively

Position Details:

  • Contract duration: Complete school year (CSY)
  • Hours: 22.5 hours per week
