Job Description

An exciting opportunity is available for skilled professionals in Aurora, IL, within a K-12 school setting. This contract position is designed to cover a leave of absence, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' communication needs from mid-October 2025 to mid-January 2026.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Illinois SLP license
  • Professional Educators License (PEL) for Illinois schools through ISBE
  • CCC-SLP certification preferred
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings
  • Familiarity with mild to moderate needs on an elementary caseload

Location:

  • Aurora, IL

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students requiring speech and language support
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students on your caseload
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students needs
  • Deliver direct services at one school site, ensuring focused and effective intervention
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and outcomes
  • Participate in school meetings and provide insights on students' communication development
