Job Description

This opportunity is suited for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) passionate about supporting students in a K-12 educational setting. The position involves working with pediatric populations across elementary, middle, and high school levels during the 2025-2026 school year. This contract role offers a 37.5-hour workweek at a school located in Aurora, IL.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language services to students across grades K-12.
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor student progress.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals.
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with school policies and state regulations.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possession of a current Professional Educator License (PEL) with an SLP endorsement.
  • Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion preferred.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings.
  • Familiarity with Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) collaboration in healthcare or school environments is a plus.
  • Ability to engage effectively with students across elementary, middle, and high school grades.
