Job Description

An opportunity is available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists to support students across various grade levels in a dynamic K-12 school environment. This role focuses on addressing the diverse communication needs of adolescents, ensuring that each student receives the guidance and support necessary for their success.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Professional Educator's License (PEL) for Illinois schools through ISBE
  • Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, particularly in school settings
  • Familiarity with early childhood and elementary education practices
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Location:

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to determine students' speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement IEPs, setting measurable goals for each student
  • Provide direct therapy services to students requiring speech and language intervention
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' overall development
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and services provided
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and relevant training
