A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the current school year at a K-8 school in Aurora, CO. This part-time, onsite contract role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the communication development of students with diverse needs.
Responsibilities include collaborating closely with the Special Education Teacher to create daily schedules, coordinate testing procedures, and assist in planning annual IEP meetings. You will provide updated speech and language caseload lists to maintain accuracy in the Special Education roster. Delivering specially designed instruction through resource room, inclusion, or pullout services will be essential to support each students unique communication requirements. Working collaboratively with school staff and families, you will contribute to tracking student progress and ensuring that IEP goals are achieved efficiently.
Qualifications:
This position requires 20 hours per week onsite, from ASAP through the end of the school year, offering a caseload primarily serving K-8 students.
