Job Description

A unique opportunity awaits skilled professionals to provide specialized support as a Speech Language Pathologist in an educational setting. This contract position spans the 2025-2026 school year, focusing on fostering communication skills for elementary students.

Location: Aurora, CO area

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring speech and language support.
  • Implement therapy sessions tailored to the needs of prek-5th grade students.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to facilitate effective communication strategies.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities as required.

Qualifications:

  • Current CDE license (may be in process to be considered).
  • ASHA certification for Speech Language Pathology.
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and related documentation.
