Job Description

Providing speech and language therapy services in a K-12 educational setting, this full-time position requires a qualified and licensed Speech Language Pathologist to support student communication needs. The role is contract-based for the current school year, offering a chance to make a meaningful impact on students' academic and social development.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Maine SLP License
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in a school setting is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language development, assessment, and intervention strategies

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations for K-12 students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation and comply with state and federal regulations
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
