Job Description

A certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC credentials is needed to support an elementary school setting in Arvada, CO. This contract position is to cover a leave of absence and offers the opportunity to work directly with young students in a dynamic educational environment.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working as an SLP in school settings, preferably elementary level
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and provide individualized treatment plans for speech and language disorders
  • Familiarity with educational regulations and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, parents, and school staff

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify student needs
  • Develop and implement therapy plans targeting speech production, language comprehension, and communication skills
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
  • Collaborate with teachers and other education professionals to integrate speech goals into classroom activities
  • Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation of services provided
