Job Description

An exciting opportunity awaits for a skilled candidate to support students in a K-12 educational environment located in Arvada, CO. This position focuses on working with preschool to fifth-grade students, providing essential speech and language services from October 2025 through the end of the school year in May 2026.

Qualifications:

  • CDE license in Colorado (candidates in the process of obtaining a license are encouraged to apply)
  • ASHA certification
  • Previous experience working in a school setting, particularly with K-5 students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement IEPs effectively
  • Knowledge of various speech and language disorders and treatment strategies

Location:

  • Arvada, Colorado

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, tailoring sessions to meet diverse needs
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy techniques as required
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
