Job Description

This full-time contract opportunity invites a Speech Language Pathologist certified in California to work with a diverse PreK-12 student population. The role involves serving multiple schools, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and providing high-quality speech and language therapy services. Key Qualifications:

  • Current and active California Speech Language Pathologist license
  • Clinical Certification of Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants are encouraged
  • Experience or comfort working in school-based settings
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric speech and language disorders
  • Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to travel between schools within the district

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and assess speech/language needs for PreK-12 students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services, both in individual and group formats
  • Maintain accurate student records and progress reports
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to facilitate student success
  • Provide support for a varied and changing caseload across multiple school settings
