Job Description

This contract opportunity in Arlington, WA, supports a K-12 school environment seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide leave coverage. The role requires delivering direct and indirect therapy services, conducting evaluations, and contributing to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) within a caseload-based model. Candidates with certifications such as SLP - CCC, experience in healthcare or pediatrics, teletherapy capabilities, as well as those in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification (SLP - CCC preferred)
  • Experience in school settings, healthcare, pediatrics, or teletherapy
  • Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
  • Ability to complete evaluations, write and implement IEPs, and deliver therapy services
  • Preferred onsite presence; virtual options may be considered
  • WA SLPA License & WA ESA credentials are advantageous
  • Willingness to collaborate professionally with paraprofessionals or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) if bundled service arrangements are offered

Location: Arlington, Washington

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations for K-12 students
  • Provide individualized therapy services both direct and indirect
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with district standards
  • Participate in team meetings and apply administrative time to documentation and coordination
  • Support any required supervision and collaboration with educational staff and assistants
