Job Description

This full-time, contract position offers multiple openings for licensed Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) to serve K-12 students throughout the entire school year in Arlington, VA. The role focuses on providing comprehensive speech and language support to help students achieve their communication goals and succeed academically.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students across grades K-12
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student evaluations, treatments, and outcomes
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Valid Virginia state license as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience providing speech and language services in an educational setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong understanding of pediatric speech and language development and disorders
