Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough student evaluations to assess speech and language needs.
  • Collaborate with educational staff and parents during IEP meetings to develop and implement individualized education plans.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students requiring speech and language support.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapeutic techniques as necessary.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to support overall student development.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid Texas state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a school setting preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and staff.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
