Job Description

In a supportive educational environment, professionals will provide vital speech and language services to students across various grade levels. This role is focused on fostering communication skills and addressing the unique needs of each student within a K-12 setting.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Minnesota Speech Language Pathologist License
  • CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working with diverse student populations, particularly in K-12 settings
  • Strong understanding of IEPs and related documentation processes
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Location:

  • Anoka, MN

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
  • Provide direct and indirect speech/language services according to stated IEPs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development
  • 3-1 service model; 3 weeks of direct service 1 week of indirect to work on due process documentation and billing.
