A School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Andover, MN. This contracted role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive school environment, delivering essential speech and language services to students with diverse communication needs. The position focuses on evaluating, developing, and implementing individualized treatment plans to enhance students' communication abilities and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs
- Develop, implement, and modify individualized education programs (IEPs) related to speech and language goals
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both one-on-one and in group settings
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and compliance with regulations
- Stay current with best practices and maintain licensure requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure/certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working in a school setting preferred
- Strong assessment and therapeutic skills applicable to pediatric populations
