Job Description

A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at a high school in Anaheim, CA. This contract position offers the chance to provide essential speech and language support to students, helping them achieve their academic and communication goals during the school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in high school students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student evaluations, goals, and progress
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current and valid Speech-Language Pathology license or certification
  • Experience working in a school setting, preferably with high school-aged students
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and evidence-based intervention techniques
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
