Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for a leave replacement position at a middle school serving grades 6-8 in the Anaheim, CA area. This contract assignment runs from August 5th through October 15th and requires in-person services. The caseload involves an average of 55 students with mild to moderate speech and language disabilities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing both direct and indirect speech-language therapy services
  • Conducting evaluations and assessments
  • Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborating with educators and support staff to support student progress

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience in healthcare, pediatrics, school settings, and teletherapy
  • California SLP License or California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC)
  • Ability to manage a caseload with diverse communication needs
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

This role requires full-time commitment at 32.5 hours per week (6.5 hours per day) and is an excellent fit for a dedicated SLP looking for a temporary contract in a school environment.
