Job Description

An exciting opportunity for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist has become available in an engaging elementary school setting. This position is designed for a dedicated professional ready to make a significant impact on the lives of students with varying speech and language needs.

Anaheim, CA

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and provide diagnosis for students with speech and language disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for a diverse caseload of 55 students, ranging from mild to severe disabilities.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to facilitate effective intervention strategies.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed to ensure continued development.
  • Maintain accurate records of services provided and student progress in compliance with state regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Active California Speech-Language Pathologist License.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, especially in school settings.
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and related documentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and staff.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
