Job Description
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school setting near Albany, GA, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This role requires a dedicated professional holding the ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) to support the communication needs of school-aged children. The position spans from ASAP through the end of the current school year under a contract arrangement.
Key Qualifications:
- ASHA certification as a Speech Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) is mandatory
- Experience providing speech therapy services in K-12 educational settings preferred
- Strong understanding of speech and language assessment and intervention techniques
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other specialists
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
Location:
- Near Albany, GA, serving a K-12 school population
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs
- Monitor and document student progress regularly
- Work collaboratively with teachers and families to enhance communication outcomes
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed
