Exciting opportunities are available for two Speech-Language Pathologists to deliver impactful preschool early intervention services across Carbon and Lehigh Counties. As valued professionals working within itinerant settings, youll support students communication needs and play a vital role in their school readiness and learning journey. Assignments run approximately 35 hours per week and require flexibility, as caseloads may shift between preschool and school-age students over the course of the school year. This contract role is designed for dedicated SLPs eager to make a difference with the local student population.
Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Pennsylvania SLP license
- Possession of Pennsylvania Educator Credential (Instructional I or II)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Previous experience in school-based or early intervention settings preferred
- Ability to work onsite and travel between multiple preschool locations (itinerant model)
- Flexibility to serve students from PreK through 12th grade as assignments shift
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to preschool students, progressing to school-age as needed
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Conduct assessments, monitor progress, and document performance
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance student outcomes
- Support families by providing guidance and resources to foster language development at home
