This opportunity offers a full-time or part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) role supporting early childhood students for the 2025-2026 school year. The position is based on-site at an early childhood educational setting located in Allentown, PA, with a focus on serving young children in the surrounding Bethlehem and Easton areas. This is a leave contract role, ideal for SLP professionals passionate about pediatric and school-based speech therapy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to early childhood students
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and state regulations
- Monitor and evaluate student progress regularly and adjust interventions accordingly
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
- Experience working as an SLP in school or healthcare settings, with a focus on pediatrics
- Knowledge of early childhood speech and language development
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to work full-time or part-time during the 2025-2026 academic year
